To improve production efficiency, ensure constant production quality over time, optimize the performance of power transmission equipment and reduce production costs, the entire production cycle employs modern numeric control machinery and leading-edge fixtures, among which:

  • Klingelnberg/Matrix precision worm screw grinders;
  • Pfauter hobbing machines;
  • Okuma horizontal machining centers.

All this is backed by the support of highly specialized technicians who, based on a goal plan, regularly implement stringent and precise validation processes comprising prompt statistical controls of the finished product pre/post manufacturing stages.

The entire processing and machining cycle takes place in our facilities, including the controlled atmosphere heat treatment.

Modern Metrological Labs for quality controls and test rooms for endurance and efficiency trials constantly monitor the products to guarantee more stable output levels, constant production conformity and continuous improvement of both performance and quality over time.

The Metrological Labs use the best digital monitoring equipment. They are outfitted with modern instruments, all with calibration certificates as required by the mandatory Quality regulations.

The main verification and control instruments are:

• altimeter;
• Hexagon Absolute three-dimensional arm;
• durometer;
• Klingelnberg/Gleason involute measurement machine;
• roughness gauge;
• Zaiss three-dimensional machine.

Prompt and stringent 100% quality controls conducted at constant temperature by specialized personnel working in close contact with the production departments gives rise to a continuous flow of interactions which form the basis of our production and monitoring protocol, strictly aligned with the ISO 9001 management standards adopted in our Quality System and which comprises the following main activities:

• seal ring pressure test;
• lubricant fill test;
• rotating reducer test;
• torque test with electromagnetic brakes;
• noise test.

In conjunction with our Suppliers, we at CMR Riduttori have long-since established a reliable and stable system, thereby improving and optimizing our procurement costs. The main guidelines of our Quality system include ABC classification to assure correct management standards and use of raw materials and finished products, which also results in optimized incoming and outgoing goods flows.
