To increase their efficiency, the hardened and tempered steel worm screws feature ZI profiles (UNI4760) and are ground for longer life and to assure low noise levels. On-going investments in machinery allow CMR Riduttori to precision-grind the worm screws, thereby achieving accuracy levels with deviations of just a few μm and <0.4 Ra roughness values.
The worm wheel is made of an alloy in bronze CuSn12Ni with the addition of nickel, the result being higher transmissible torque values than those indicated in the required standards.
The worm wheel hub is made of spheroidal cast iron instead of gray cast iron and is thus ideal for heavy duty applications.
Use of high quality synthetic oil ensures significant improvements in terms of potential use, and especially increases both the effectiveness and efficiency of the lubricating action.
